yes I did, It was a mistake to get too "blingy". Too many problems with fancy wheels. When I bend a steelie, I can find another one for cheap.
I do want to get 16's with 35's for my next set. I am looking for the right set to run that combo with.
Thank you
Strolling through Wallyworld after I got my truck, near the checkout and I spotted the infamous lightbulb mod. I got the picture in my head, about turning the bulb on when I decide to do something fun on a trail, and could see it mounted on my dash. Another member of the group...
Thank you
I do believe it helped with cabin noise. It definitely helped with keeping the cabin cooler. It was 114 today, I had my a/c cranked to past glacier setting, and it got the cabin to a cool 67F, with the air set to recycle. I also did insulation and sound deadening around the drivers...
Thank you Sir
I tried to get the whole build on at once so it would all be together. You jumped in the middle somewhere:sombrero:

This was the very first time I have ever tried to drive without having the use of windows. It went well. I found a few views I still need to make it easier, but it was fun to do. Best thing is wikid is still in one...
Since I changed my mind on colors I had to redo the monitor pods in the correct color. That took the most time since I had to pull everything down and pull all the monitor cases out to make a clean install over my custom console. It was worth the extra effort for sure.
Installed and making...
Ok After testing my system in a local rough wash area, I cannot get the video system to mess up so I think it's ready to finalize. The picture reflects wires secured with the sound deadening. I used strips of it to stop possible wires coming loose and rattling in the headliner. The sound...
Here are the 2 ecu's wired and ready for testing. I am going to make a wire keeper for the top of this where all the wires that come out of the ecu's will so have support above them so they won't wiggle out. Testing mode doesn't require neat appearance til I know its right
As part of my...
I decided to make a harness for all the switches in the OH console. I ran one 12 gauge wire for power and a ground. Then soldered and wired each switch. I used (2) 5 wire cables to use as trigger wires to run to all of the accessories that will need to be switched. I should never have to pull...
Even though it doesn't look like it, we are fairly close to trimming everything out and doing final adjustments, before the headliner goes back up. Its a slow process because this is totally custom and there are many things that come up while we progress
Wiring in the 2 ecu's that are...

I made a mount in the location of the sub woofer and built it up to the level I needed to be above the trim
The next part of the puzzle is the faceplate for the bottom section which will be removeable when servicing is needed
Fiitting the important parts is next. I wanted to make...
I like the cleaner look under the bull bar now. I didn't like the large gap inside the bumper. It looked unfinished
I decided to go get some steel and fab something up to fill the hole. I went to the steel place and looks through the scraps. I found some 3/4" angle and some plate steel with...
