That is only part of it. The fronts is lifted by adjusting the perch height on the 5100's. That isn't giving him the correct spring rate for a loaded truck.
Not all frame pumps are something i would carry out in the wild and rely on. If it was an in-town commuter, then sure anything would work because you can always catch a bus to work in a pinch.
Our truck although not equipped the same way as yours lessened sway by the addition of OME springs. Even with the preload on your factory springs it is no match for a real load rated spring.
E load tires will also help.

I have the old version blackburn mountain pump. I bought it new in 1996. I have replaced the seals once in that time (easy job). and that was only because I munched the valve seal.
It has saved my hide a few times...
I have a diamond antenna on my VX-6r and I think the reception range out performs my car for AM-FM. But the audio quality isn't as good.
neat project though. Please post pictures when you finish.
sorry I misread what your HID kit was, and the use of silicone. I didn't realize that the ff700's had that bulb retention that obviously doesn't work with the kit.
Looks good. Love that color too.
Just replace it. The reman units are pretty inexpensive, and it is probably the easiest alternator to replace EVER. And I believe you can upgrade to the XT alternator for more amps.
you may get more out of making a mold from the original rocker guards. A set of carbon/Kevlar rocker guards will serve you well on a rig like that. We have used them as sliders on the rally cars numerous times with very little damage.
