I have 6 of these - Kawell K5-5118 18W. They are split into 3 different switched circuits left, rear, and right on the roof rack and work fine.
I noticed voltages on the light side of the relays - with the battery disconnected. To make a long story short, this is what I found:

Seems to work fine. Collected a surprising amount of dirt, debris, and rain water.
Since comparisons to automobiles seem to be popular:
CNN)—A driver veered onto a crowded sidewalk several times on the Las Vegas Strip, injuring more than 30 people in what authorities described as an "intentional" act.
At least one person was killed and 37 others injured near the Paris...
I'm surprised it took this long for someone to trot this turkey out. I guess the conversation was overrun by cars.

Well, if past experience is a guide, there are actually two responses:
Mass shooting - immediate wailing and gnashing of teeth from the top down calling for more "common sense" gun control
Inner city - crickets
Interesting view with which I somewhat agree. Society did make the decision for safer cars and thankfully so. A complex piece of machinery offers much opportunity for improvement. A simple device like a firearm not so much. What would that ability look like?
The whole guns vs cars is specious at best anyway. Yeah cars are safer than they used to be and will no doubt get better. Fact is you're still far more likely to be killed in a car crash than by a gun. Look here. Covers both ends of the argument...
Yeah kind of my point. Society has decided 30,000 lives is an acceptable price to pay for those "constructive uses". Sure there are safety improvements but what would happen if the "car control" folks were clamoring as loudly as the "gun control" crowd?
Guns are much easier to demonize...
One of the common phrases invoked by proponents of more gun control is an often teary eyed "if it saves one life". What we must admit is that the priority isnt always saving lives. Society has decided that the utility of auto use outweighs the cost of the thousands of lives lost.
