Such a pretty area! That is crazy about the Kona Kai! We didn't make it into the Seward sea life center I was reading about it after we saw it and looked really neat.
We find ourselves in the rain exploring the Kenai Peninsula, we check out Homer, Seward, and the Exit Glacier. The natural beauty just continues to blow our minds as we wander around. Tim also goes an a rescue mission for our drone.
As we work our way south we stumble across a bore tide. Turns out this is the only bore tide in the USA and it happens in the Turnagain Arm in Alaska. So we set out to find the perfect spot to watch this amazing natural wonder and get a few more happy surprises along the way.
Well we have a day where nothing seems to work out, but we still enjoy the sites, manage to stock up and fuel up in Fairbanks before heading north to start the Dalton Highway.
We enjoy a crisp clear day of exploring up into mainland Alaska. We see moose and lots of beautiful scenery. We even meet a new friend and fellow traveler.
We arrive in Skagway Alaska fresh off the Alaska Ferry, to find a quiet little town full of history but not much else. We are blown away by the wild beauty, and are excited to be on land and edge of a great adventure.
We enjoy one last day at our beautiful campsite (complete with an ice cold dip in the river) then head for the Bellingham ferry terminal to get on the Alaska Ferry. Join us!
Well we find some more fish and chips, enjoy another night at the same campsite and head for Seattle where we are able to meet up with lots of friends (thanks to @OverlandTheAmericas for showing us around!). After that we head north for a final few nights in the lower 48 at another great spot...
Hey guys!
Sorry for the delay in posting, we have been enjoying Alaska but haven't had much luck with cell service or wifi. In this episode we wander our way up the coast trying to avoid the swarms of tourists and RV's all while taking in the beauty. We manage to find some lesser visited...
The smoke drives us to the coast in this episode where are able to find some fresh air. We remember how much we love the beach and find a cool camp even in the midst of the summer vacation chaos.
Sorry to post so late but we just got into Skagway and found some wifi to post this video. In this episode we catch you up on what we spent the rest of our time in Bend Oregon doing.
We are finally free to go where we want and do some traveling. It takes some getting used to, but we are pretty stoked to be back on the road! Our first stop is a smokey Crater Lake, then off to see Bend, OR.
The wait is over! (Thanks for being patient). We are excited to show you are tiny home on wheels. This is Dusty our 1990 HDJ80 Toyota Land Cruiser and in this video we walk you through some of the highlights!
