Wanted to buy 1 desert tan scepter type screw on water jug lid. Just the lid. If anyone has 1, or knows where to buy a replacement lid, please let me know.
Thanks!
I finally got around to powering up my winch (Engo 10000) last week, but determined that control solenoids were sticking.
Old solenoids:
New solenoids:
The new ones I used are: T-Max Products LLC 47-3650 - T-Max Replacement Winch Solenoids 16$ ea through Summit Racing. I don't have the...
There are also the alternatives to the pull pal, ARB markets one & smitty built has a knock-off (WASP).
Both are pretty compact, the smittybilt weighs around 50lbs. I don't know how much the one ARB markets weighs in at.
I bought the smittybilt version off Craigslist, it's in new/never used...
As an alternative, you might be able to fabricate a handle. Weld something with similar splines onto a piece of bar and add a handle.
Also, make sure that your torsion bar is still functioning before you buy (or build) a new handle.
Good luck &... pictures please!
Somewhere along the Blue Ridge Parkway a few weeks ago. I think it was called Otter Peaks camp ground.
This was along Skyline drive after Expo East.
Camden Hills Maine (this past summer):
Wait--is that the Appalachian Rendezvous ya'll are headed too?
I might be able to get a few extra nights off of work-dunno. Heck it's only a 13hr drive...hmmm.
Thanks for the pics!
...Say who's truck is that taking a short cut through the event gazebo under the Went Windrock sign?
-Ooh ooh wait, I know! Great shot-thanks!
I'm still meandering home, did a recovery today (of a high sided Prius), does it count as my first?
Woot to Cory! Your welcome!
Dunno about the gear bomb though...it's currently getting worse over at my folks, and likely won't get any better for Expo this weekend. Oh well, I know where most of my stuff is...somewhere in my truck. Haha!
I "might" have video of your recovering Zack's X, my...
Just wanted to put up a quick post about how my Went went...
Great time!
If folks on here have a chance to go next year - ABSOLUTELY do it!!!
All skill levels were encouraged, with groups for every level.
This event is a great idea for folks who are interested in overlanding, but haven't...
That's actually similar to what I ended up doing.
I needed a tiny bit more clearance, so I put a strip of metal along each bed rail. I then put down a line of butyl tape. I bought the tape from camping world, ?$8 for 30'.
For this instal/adjustment I jacked up my flippac one side at a time &...
I'd say just go with the foam again, then maybe add a bead of silicone.
Home depot has 30' rolls of the foam for $6. ---> 1-1/4 in. x 30 ft. Camper Seal Foam Tape $5.97 / each
Cheap & easy.
