Check out Rokmen they specialize in jeeps with small lifts and 33 -42 tires. They know and love jeeps they will not send you in the wrong direction. Dont get fooled not all the jeeps they build are on huge tires. There products are built in house and have great customer service/ warranty...
I know adventure trailers dont offer much for a big family but I love ours. Our two kids will be moving into their own tent this summer and the wife and I will be back to sleeping in comfort. Most of the people we travel with have ground tents and I am still able to get my small nimble trailer...
Now if only you could make a solid axel swap onto 100's affordable. I love my 100 but still like the idea of the 80's solid axel. I always seem to have the wrong rig.
In my mind a springbar tent would be sweet for a family of four. I currently have a rtt and must say a regular 4 season tent is much better than most rtt's being produced. Rtt's are no good in the wind or heat. Rtt's are great when you have drank to much beer and dont want to get up with the...
A person can also find used co2 tanks at restraunts and bars. My local sushi restraunt gave me two 20lb tanks for free. I ordered a fixxed regulator and was off and running. I have since given away one tank and down sized to a 15 lb tank. I to was to cheap to get the powertank brand products.
Give Ben a call over at slee offroad. I live in longmont and have roof top tent on my adventure trailer if you would like to check it out anytime shoot me a pm and come on up.
I have two of the GCI Xpress Loungers and I will say that I love them but both of mine are very different in how the are sewn. One of the chairs you can really lean back in and the other is more upright. There is probably a reason for them being a lower priced chair. Even though my chairs are...
I think the money you will spend trying to keep yourself happy, ie entertainment eating out, beer, toys, and other things you may enjoy that it would be cheaper to just rent a dive apartment. I say this because it happens to me. I lived in a tent while working summers for the forest service...
I know this should probably be in the trailer section but its aimed at 100 series owners that are also using trailers. I found a supplier in the denver area that can convert five on four and a half bolt pattern to five on one fifty mm. I will be running landcruiser wheels on my adventure...
If you want to stop in Colorado I will meet you for a pint. I have a sweet work schedule so something should work. I have a driveway and tools if anything needs to be fixxed.:victory:
I have been un happy with my pump on my chaser since the day I got the trailer. Campworld sells a few different pumps none of them beingthat great. I will be watching this thread.
Build a sleeping platform or some nice drawers. Or the easiest solution for winter would be to haul around some sand bags. My 100 series rides rough like my jeep did I have resorted to just leaving my gear and 60L fridge in it all the time.
