Just got tracking numbers from FedEx on the Fox Wing and Oz Tent, should be here tomorrow or Saturday. Doubt they deliver on Saturday so most likley it will show Monday. I will set them up the instant they get here and take pictures, if it looks as good as they did at OVEX, I will be estatic...
DMV in Banning is pretty quick if you make an appointment, I was in and out in less than an hour, even had the trailer inspected and number assigned.
I pulled the ARB slider out today, I think I can make them and get the price reasonable. I bought this one a year ago from 4 wheel parts, it was...
Actually got quite a bit done today, should be on the board tomorrow. Back is hurting, so I am calling it a night for at least a little while. Knees are aching so a little Vicodin and I will be ready to rock in roll in an hour or so.
Cut the holes for the water heater door, shower, water...
Not much room to move the door farther forward, and the fenders are only 3 inches above the tire, with a 5 inch frame and 6 inch drop in the axle. With a 24 X 36 inche door it leaves just exactly 1 inch to the roof of the trailer, with and 8 inch Restava mattress you could not set up in the...
The door openings are 24 by 36, on the one I am building now I moved the front nose cone to accomadate the door, I had planned on that. I have the wood on the trailer right now, I will pull it off most likley later this evening and take a closer look. I have had several comment on the width...
Thanks for the site skibum I will add to my favorites.
I found the struts from the manufacturer and will buy them there after this.. Napa costs 68 bucks for the pair, 36 buck from the manufacter.
I am not into slides on drawers on off road trailers, for them to work and keep working for a...
The cub was pointed directly at AT. It is very well built trailer that will do anything you ask of it. I have seen it up close and personal, and I talked with Chris about the trailer. If I were weighing between the two, this would get my money very quickly. Truly a great trailer priced for...
Again have looked at making the bed above the wheel wells. The number one problem with that is the door opening, it does not leave enough room for the door to be installed, but I will try to see if it can be done.
I am working on this being a little prettier in the kitchen department. The side walls have a protective sheet on them, the back wall will have urethane coating and all of the wood insets will have urethane on them. The galley hatch will have fiberglass on the inside covering all wiring and...
The Wolfcreek Pack has a tent system that goes with it that allows for 5 to sleep. Not inside but all attached.
Getting wider, takes away the trail worthiness of the trailer. I also use a Restava memory foam mattress, I am over 200 pounds and the wife is not tiney either. We have no problems...
Currently it is 75 to 80 inches, but could make it up to two inches longer. Main frame would change as the back bone would have to be longer to form the support for the 35 gallon water tank. Fiber glass would be could as I have 4 more inches to play with on it before I have to go to two...
The bed area is 80 inches long, 50 wide. I can make it a couple of inches longer if need be, not a problem, it does run a little more due to the steel and the main back bone, my guess would be couple of hundred total. I have 4 more inches of fiberglass before I have to have two sheets so that...
I am not sure of how trail worthy the base unit it. Need more pictures of the actual frame. Awfully long tongue and does not look to be 2.5x2.5 reciever material. Show us more.
See if offers torsion axles, they work fantastic for what we do. Also Dexter and Alko are providing torsion axles for all new US Military and Nato forces, for trailers under 10K. They cost a bit more, but well worth the price.
