Custom water tank
I did a build last year of a '13 Tundra. I looked everywhere for a custom tank builder and decided to go with the tanks built by Adventure Trailers. I wanted a large tank---at least 35 gallons---and I wanted it mounted in the center of the truck and of a size that took up...
depends
Not too hard to conclude from all these great posts that it depends...depends on your vehicle and how and where you drive it. I have a built Tundra and live in the high desert outside Bend. Toyo Open Country AT2 Extremes have been great here ( previously ran MT's on my built Tacoma)...
Yesterday I had the pleasure of seeing this rig in person, crawling in, under and over it...and getting a ride. It is one sweet truck. The timing is not right for us but someone is going to get a fabulously set up, meticulously cared for, low mileage, late model ER. The owner is great to talk...
"Asinine"??? Whoa rayra. Maybe a little New Year's chill resolution is in order. OP was just looking for a little advice. For whatever reason---time, inclination, resources, priorities different from yours---he wants to find someone to build these for him. He wasn't looking for a lack of...
I have had several drawers/boxes (and custom water tank) built by Adventure Trailers. They built to my specs, did fantastic, very high quality work and the cost is within your ballpark. I would strongly recommend you contact Martyn or Mario and they will set you up. My build is found in this...
Thanks amo. I looked on Tundratalk but mainly read existing threads which had very conflicting info. I will, as you suggest, just ask and see what pops up. I've seen a bunch of similar trucks with 35's but don't know what was involved. Anyway, thanks for the tips.
Thanks for the feedback Law. I, too, found many ideas reading through the Portal.
I really have all the room I need. I also was stepping up from a Tacoma so this bed seems cavernous to me. I can't think of one time that we needed more space, particularly since using the back for storage. I...
I have a 2013 Tundra with about 3" lift (Icon stage 5, frt.&r., leafs+airbags rear). I am interested in running
35/12.50 17 Tires when my Toyo ATII's wear out. I assume my TRD 17" wheels are not going to cut it.
I have searched various forums and found all sorts of conflicting info. I have...
Ditto the Glock 27. I really like the 40 cal round and the shape is great for concealed carry. Small grip has required I put a lot of practice rounds through it to shoot it properly, but now really like it.
New BMW ride
A photo before the snow and rain started in Oregon. '15 GSA set up for 200+mile offroad camping trip in Eastern O.
I have had 3 GS's (and 6 BMW's) and this bike is head and shoulders better than my older models.
I did a similar mod and installed a couple of Adventure Trailer custom boxes. Great use of space for our use of the Tundra. See:
