Outback Imports is high priced but maybe worth it as you have found out, they do a very thorough check on everything. Most JDMs there, have two prices, one with and one without the thorough go through. They know their stuff! Probably one of the best importers in Kanukistan.
The guy selling it...
I agree with comments above that if you or someone you are travelling with has a way to inflate the tire, then by all means have a repair kit, cheap insurance.
Another feature that I like and saves time and effort, is most times you can repair the tire while it is still mounted to the vehicle...
Already called my friend Jesse (owner of Outback Imports) quite awhile ago, and no luck so far (stock). Also the other one is local and I know the guy and he has a custom suspension for the rear, Thxs, Kurt.
You should really get a 24V winch, much better and less draw in amps. A fridge (Engel, ARB, Waeco, et al.) do not draw much amps (+/- 2-3 amps max). All applications that can be 24V (fridges) should be as it draws on both batteries equally. Putting that much draw using a 12V winch will ruin your...
The 24V is a bit of a PITA but I have learned to live with it. Definitely would like to have a 12V system with a dual battery using NL. The Solar (nothing to do with the sun) converter is the way to go to get to the 12V for apps.
I, along with others with 70 series TLCs, have also got the 24V system. Most use a product called a Solar Converter Charge Controller as your system alternator doesn't know what is happening to either battery. Get one that puts out approximately the most amperage that you anticipate at one time...
Here are some photos of VIAJADOR naked, after I gutted her inside, took out all the past owners idea of electrical rigging and ready to start my own interior mods:
change out gauge lights to 24V from 12V and rig up wiring for 12V instrumentation needs to solar converter battery management...
So, after soliciting for quality photos, how come the slide show hasn't changed? No new photos seen in quite awhile? When will the ones submitted show up?
I got this emailed to me by friends since I go to UTAH a lot:

Pierre,
I was always a bit cramped in the 73 being slightly taller than 6 foot, it was a stretch to sleep inside even with the front passenger seat pushed forward and reclined forward as well. But made it work as I was quite minimalistic.
The 77 came with a 5 speed manual instead of the 4...
No y problemo Dave, stay in touch and I'll post up NOMAD once she has had a bath and in her best. The 1PZ has a bit less horsepower due to the 5 cylinder but makes up for it with the manual trani instead of the automatic one. Also, the weight is less as the Auto trani weighs more. Also, don't PM...
Many thanks Dave on the kudos! Yes I am quite excited about VIAJADOR as well. She has a 1PZ diesel engine, 3.5 L 5 cylinder, manual trani and turbo'd. Nothing much for me to do except transfer my gear from NOMAD to her and redo the wiring as well as a new 3G custom rear bumper.
I am in the...
Well guys, I am finally back and into the new 77 full swing. I spent my first week back just taking all my camping gear out of NOMAD (73) and my gear that I want to put into VIAJADOR. Man what a lot of dirt, dust, moon dust (as Michael calls it) not in the truck but behind the trim panels...
OK, now I understand, your first photo of the bird feeder wasn't as clear as the last one. I have not seen this type before. I suspect you would still get the ram air effect but with no screening, you actually might get a bird in there.
Hi Pierre,
As for the snorkel head or snake head as some refer to them here, they along significantly more air into the air box as well as the ram air effect. Much better for highway or higher speed driving.
I also have the cyclone or pre-cleaner or can which I use primarily in the desert or...
Why go to the Middle East since your 70 is a Kanukistan rig, why not go to Toyota locally first, then a Toyota dealer (Canyon Creek Toyota) in Calgary (they have experience with these) and lastly Japan or Australia Toyota Dealer (I have listings).
I get good prices and fast turnarounds from...
