Definitely not easy...a vendor made a comment that opened my grieving heart a bit; after losing many dogs, he/wife see the "opportunity" to rescue yet another pup and surround it with love. So true!
I agree; the rear of any rig gets damn dirty, so on a moondust track, I'd think the a/c unit would get very filthy.
They're very handy "portable containers" for cooking outside. Instead of gathering a bunch of items in your hands, you can just take a Step22 outside with everything you need...

So it lowers down, with the pass side as a pivot, towards the ground on driver side? HUGE gas strut assisted or are you lowering down and raising it back up yourself? Cannot be light.

From top of 3 big drawers to ceiling is 30.25".
From top of mattress surface to ceiling is 24.5".
I sleep most of the time with the drawers/bed not slid out into King bed mode, and thus above my head is where the ceiling starts slanting forward, so there's less headroom than 24
