Yeah, being in PNW I really can't imagine having something without a fan. I'm used to wiping down regular tents and RTT condensation in the morning, but I'd not be happy having to wipe down the inside of the camper too
Alu-cab makes great stuff, they just don't have PNW weather down there I...
Thanks for the info, yeah being in the PNW and with a tiny garage, I'm always concerned with condensation and leaking... Especially into the bedding.
I need to get around to sealing all areas of the bed anyways as I never got around to it before installing my bed rug and drawers.
I apologize if this has been addressed somewhere in the previous 93 pages... I didn't through them all.
I am considering an alu-cabin for my full-sized short-bed Tundra Crew-max but I am worried about proper ventilation. Most canopy campers these days offer the option of roof fans (ex. maxxair...
I hear you.
50 isn't a magic number, IMO just an idea thrown out there to maybe spark ideas on how to prevent this site from becoming "Craig's Overlanding List." I appreciate your viewpoint; I am on many forums for different things and minimum posts isn't the end all...
I have many forums I've...
Can we cancel "turn-key"
Think I've hit my saturation point reading it in most of these ads.
Many, many vehicles that can drive-over, land, start by turning a key.
We should call out those ads for vehicles that are push button start, but described as " turn key"
Liar! Not a turn key!!! Haha. ?
Agreed. I could just stop looking at the ads if I was actually that annoyed. Honestly it's just kinda a morbid fascination.
I also understand that not all folks new to "overlanding" are causing the land use issues, it's just easy for me to make that assumption and be irritated at the "newbs"
I also think part of my annoyance is that a lot of these crazy pimped out rigs were the ones built up during the fad of Overlanding!!! That happened during the #vanlife times of COVID. With all of the new vendors and accessories people bought with this sudden increase in disposable income during...
I go back and forth on this. I am, however addicted to looking at the ads o_O.
For ideas and inspiration.
To look at purty photos of cool rigs
To see a lot of the absurd pricing of these cool rigs ?
I am always on the lookout for a new project and sometimes think I want a new rig (however, not...
Thanks for the info!
Heated seats for the wife are a necessity... Deal breaker without! ventilated a bonus but not deal breaker for me.
That moon roof is sick.
Being a 2012 Toyota Tundra guy thinking of dipping my toes into a larger domestic...
Gotta ask, why are you wanting to move on from it?
Nice looking truck!
Any additional pics you could share?
I'm a Toyota guy so maybe I'm not familiar with Ford packages. I'm interested in interior info/ pics as well. Silly but heated and ventilated seats important for me.
Truck sticker to show options?
I know it's not a Prius but...
Thanks for the info
Interesting catch, that would seem to make sense from the timeline. I saw in the comments section in a different photo on their instagram where the guy said something about the frame being reinforced, I must have misinterpreted. If he did, didn't specify what / how so your...
Hope I am not hijacking the thread, and I am definitely not bashing Tundras (I love my 2012 CrewMax) just responding about frame issues with overloaded Tundras... someone just made this aware to me recently.
Now this example is not a Double cab so not really a fair comparison, but a fair...
