They can put as many AT tires and fancy axles underneath as they want but it doesn't make them any more robust to take off the beaten path. It's still typical RV garbage.
Agreed, the cab on an LMTV is bigger. On the down side, as long as you are not purchasing a full refurbished one from Acela, they are not reliable. We have had many customers over the years that told us that. I would take that Mercedes over and SS any day.

That’s because the actual window acts like a green house and give the heat to the shade assembly. Hence my comment about heat/cold loss as soon as you introduce windows/doors.
100% agreed. As soon as you ad doors/ hatches/windows everything changes. That is why we only going to install one window in our camper going to the North Pole.

The drawings are more ready to be shared yet. We have a 5’ and a 6’ version. Although the 5’ is extremely small but let’s you close the tailgate. The 6’ I think is the best compromise for that truck.
No kidding! The ultimate test. Those explorers usually sleep in tents. I bet they are excited to have a house with them this time :-)
