Best full-size 4 season composite trailer?

They can put as many AT tires and fancy axles underneath as they want but it doesn't make them any more robust to take off the beaten path. It's still typical RV garbage.

    *PRICE DROP* - *$200,000* 1994 Mercedes SK1824 AK 4x4 Expedition Truck

Agreed, the cab on an LMTV is bigger. On the down side, as long as you are not purchasing a full refurbished one from Acela, they are not reliable. We have had many customers over the years that told us that. I would take that Mercedes over and SS any day.

New kid on the block! AWD Transit with composite camper AEONrv

Just got back from another overnight trip to the ski hill. I tried very hard to make the drivers cab usable with the swivel passenger seat. I had the insulated window covers up (makes a very dark space) and the heater blasting into the front. It was simply too cold. The problem with a drivers...

New kid on the block! AWD Transit with composite camper AEONrv

The difference between having that door or just a curtain (like we have) must be huge! Jim made the right call with those!!!! Although our camper part is 100% fine, the driverscab is getting huge amounts of condensation. Even with insulated window blinds and an additional thermal blanket we had...

ATO AterraXL composite flatbed camper (pagoda roof)

That’s because the actual window acts like a green house and give the heat to the shade assembly. Hence my comment about heat/cold loss as soon as you introduce windows/doors.

What? They are awesome compare to other awning style windows. Trust me, I have played with tons of them.

ATO AterraXL composite flatbed camper (pagoda roof)

Not insulated but to reduce heat from the sun we usually apply a perforated vinyl on them. Makes a huge difference.

Did you guys also talk about the pop up ads?

ATO AterraXL composite flatbed camper (pagoda roof)

100% agreed. As soon as you ad doors/ hatches/windows everything changes. That is why we only going to install one window in our camper going to the North Pole. The biggest difference in thermal efficiency makes a skylight. Most are just single pane like the max fans etc. Especially in the...

The drawings are more ready to be shared yet. We have a 5’ and a 6’ version. Although the 5’ is extremely small but let’s you close the tailgate. The 6’ I think is the best compromise for that truck.
