This is not a post to try and convince you to run out and buy an Iphone. Hell, I am still trying to replace my broken Olympus Stylus Epic(film) as my carry around camera. Link below:

No surf and windy today in Baja so I decided to give a look at Ken Rockwell´s site. He mentions that the cover shot of the current issue of Popular Photography magazine was taken with a , dare I say it, Nikon F100 on Fuji Provia 100 slide film. What the heck is going on? These magazines are...
After reading this article I am taking my $15 Olympus 35rc rangefinder out for a few shots of the local dogs and not having the worry of ever becoming a famous celebrity photographer. Link to article below:

I have a simple and most likely a question has has been asked and answered in the past. How do I attach photos that are viewable within my posting rather than as an "attachment" that requires clicking on that "attachment" to view the downloaded photos? Any and all help will be greatly...

I visited photographer David Peterson´s site this morning and after viewing his awesome photos taken with a Nikon D40 and KIT LENS(which can now be bought for around $400) I asked myself why in the world do I need to spend $8000, $4000, $2000 or even $1000 for a new camera. I invite you to visit...

I have a 3 shot sequence of the winning bike that was ridden during the race at various times by Robby Bell, Kendall Norman and Johnny Campbell. They finished the race in 12 hours 29 minutes and 18 seconds averaging 50.56 mph. The photos were taken at Mile 515 and are a 1 second burst. The rider...
Photo taken at Erendira Mile 515 at 5:42pm. No camera zoom and not cropped. There are 2 photos of the same shot. The first is how it came out of the camera and the second I tweaked with Picasa so you could see the bike and rider. I haven't a clue about post processing.
A few photos from Erendira. The first truck was obviously rolled somewhere during the race. The second photo of a Volkswagen Bug shows the drivers side had a mishap or two. The third photo is of a Rhino and the last is "Who's Your Daddy"
A couple of photos taken at Erendira at Mile 515. The first photo I cropped to draw attention to his dust trail. His dust trail is visible quite a distance back evident of how fast he was racing. He was the second bike and racer by us as the first bike was 15 minutes ahead of him. At this...
I just got back from Ensenada to see the race vehicles before tomorrows race begins. I took a number of photos and would like to share 14 of them with all of you. I am torn between whether I like seeing the trucks all shiny and pretty or when they roar by me tomorrow with body parts missing and...
