Trust me. You don't want to keep tinkering with the garbage engineering ford put into there vans. Other than 7.3 made by International, ford's share is crap. Look up Econoline door cable replacement to get an idea of how you can get locked out. There goes 2 full days...
Rough shape is fine. But make sure that there are absolutely no leaks from the roof. Nada.
I do have a 1997 E350 diesel and was in the same shape, or what I thought was minor body rust. But it turned out to be a $3000 fix. Here's why. For some reason the body rust is always accompanied by...
Wow... People offer $10K for these. Who would have thought... Anyways , free bump to you. I hope a buyer comes along for your asking price, what ever it may be at that point in time...

I had to post this. Noticed by sheer coincidence... Congrats on the one year anniversary of the sale thread... It was posted for sale the same time last year. As "abusa" rightly pointed out, especially with the economy in the current state anyone who invests in this is going to end up upside...
Good luck with your sale and a free bump.
But honestly, for a $100K rig, I am guessing a bank will finance this as a RV? How does insurance work for this, for the VIN lookup on the insurance company's end will show this as a $8,000 work truck or less.
