FYI Cayenne seats don't fold truly flat, not like a Rover. One crappy thing about the Cayenne.
What chassis Cayenne are you looking at, 955/957('04-10), or 958('11-19'ish)?
I can tell you that if you moved both front 958 Cayenne seats forward, and you fashioned a platform for each of you...
Haha, azz!
I've had these 4gal Rotopax's (in black vs red mind you--special edition biznatch) longer than you've been driving off-pavement. ;) But you are correct--not much extreme cold weather use yet. But, being petrol, I'm limited in aftermarket choices. Especially since you didn't like my...
And the SuspMaxx kit is what GXV is using on their $70k "AdventureOption" package?? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: https://adventuretrucks.com/pages/adventure-truck
Tacosalad!!
I'm loving the Mom's Attic. Well done sir.
Driver rear gray water tank; what about putting a simple v-valley/trough in it for the 2 fuel lines to sit in? Like this pic of an aluminum fuel tank here?;
You can have a custom pass-thru made for the truck cab, that's what we were going to have professionally done (replace the rear windshield with an aluminum plate with upper crawl-thru, then have a lower crawl-thru cut, all nicely framed in).
Any reason to not consider a slightly used truck (if...
Continuation from the other thread...
@ScottPC have you considered a Ford chassis-cab, so that you can get the 40gal aft-of-rear axle fuel tank? Pics of my it on my old rig with such a tank here...

Dayummm that's a fantastic price on a well maintained and nicely modded G! 2nd owner 2005MY? Jeez, even mine was 3-5 owner IIRC I bought it back in '12.
GLWS!!
3months to complete this work, and it's still not complete? Parts delays?
New windshield & gasket seal
New Caterpillar turbo
New CTIS ECU unit
Air compressor rebuild + new governor and hoses
New air dryer cartridge
Toe alignment
New front brake air lines
Fix cab temperature control issue
Still no answer from Maxxis on the 3ply sidewall confirmation. I'll have to call them again and try to get through to technical.
Snowflake rated if possible is nice, or just get real winter tires to be safe.
Ah, synthetic line on your winch, I missed that--good to hear.
I'll add the gauge mod in...
Thx for the info Peter.
Maxtrax are heavy? Compared to a winch as a "stage1" recovery tool(after a shovel)? ;)
Glad to hear on the Yoko Geolander X-AT's in deeper/fresh snow.
Thanks for the tree clearing video. Looks like that's been the main use of the winch thus far. How are you getting up...
Rock on Ben/wife/girloverlanders, well done, this is awesome!!!
Subscribed to follow along.
The best rigs are still in the PNW. I guess we all have impeccable taste.
Thanks for this video P&F.
When you were winching out of the snow field, what tire pressures were you at then?
When did you have F&R lockers engaged during your trip, if at all?
Do you carry Maxtrax or the like, and if not, do you think those would have helped?
How about chains for the rear in...

Neither cheap $ I understand.
Interesting business tactic to keep DIY'ers out of the equation, if that's specifically why their instructions suck. My $0.02 from this industry, it's more likely laziness. When you're 1 of 1, or 1 of 2 in the market, some just don't push...
