I will be working toward better sealing down the side door edges. For now it seems adiquit for keeping things dry. I was able to seal the back around the tailgate opening very nicely. My next challenge is finding a place to mount the second battery.

I will probably add a red stip or two later to preserve night vision and keep down on bug attraction

Simple but functional.... light!!

Making some progress. Glued a seal to side doors to rest against top edge of tool boxes. Also closing the gaps at the tailgate

I will probably start with sealing up around the cap rear lift gate first and see if I like that. If not I'll cut it down and go back to factory tailgate. Inside I plan to mount my ARB fridge. Extra overhead storage for camping trips. Also need to build rack on top to carry bikes or other fun toys

I had to shorten it about 4" in the front. Figure out how to seal the side doors when closed since they used to seal on the bottom rail. Also either rework the rear door to work with truck tailgate or trim out and create seal around the back. Then I'll work on the inside...

Too complex and not much space between the front of the box and the cab. Main goal is more secure storage. I have a camper to sleep in😉

I suppose that ezlift could work but the bed is already narrow so I'm trying to maintain as much of the width as possible. Oh and not spent to many $$$

Thanks, the shell fits up Pretty nicely but the details of attaching it and making the factory boxes accessible and maintaining a seal of some sort are going to take a little time... But hey the shell was free so nothing to loose but my time. Right! The bedslide is very handy

Since no one seems to manufacture one to fit. I decided to modify a free one. I believe this one was meant for a 6.5' bed chevy. I cut about 4" off the front. I think it's gonna work. When I'm done I should be able to open the side doors and access factory boxes.

RTT located just outside Richmond VA. Older model but in excellent condition. Newer cover, sleeps 2 adults comfortably. Always kept inside. $400 obo. Trailer not included but could be had for right $$$
