Update 6/13/09 I installed front driveshaft and confirmed that the front is locked and 4wd functions properly! I may keep this thing yet! LOL

Lid would be pretty easy. To water proof I would use a urethane caulk to sea the seams but there would still be the trailgate to deal with. Anything in particular you would like pic's of?
