Today I am testing everything out before I hard mount the charge controller and Run the wires.

Got the Panel bolted on this afternoon. There are holes in the frame that line up nicely with the Frontrunner Roof Rack slots. No I just need to fine time to run the wiring and install the solar controller.

This is something I may look into for sure. I could put in under the rear floor. There is a lot of space under there after the third row delete.

I will probably add a painless duel battery kit down the road, but I have been running the fridge full time on the start battery for a year. The fridge always cuts off long before the battery is flat.

the National system Was always showing low charge on both battery's even when both were brand new. It never seamed to work right so I pulled it off an tossed it. everything has worked fine since then. I may look into getting a painless system down the road but this should work for my needs now.

Well it’s getting a solar panel any way. I plan to wire it up On the front of the roof rack on a Hinge So I can prop it up at a 45 or leave it flat. This 100watt panel will be perfect to keep the battery charged up and the fridge running when I leave the truck at the airport or the trail head.

This all sounds good I had watched a video on YouTube that made it look like at one point you had to climb around a big rock on the passages side (for north bound travel) that I wasn’t sure you didn’t need 35’s to get over.
