I would run on my knees while carrying a 2 gb SD card on my wallet and use free DSL in Batopilas at that price. We mexicans are mostly cheapskates :p

As long as you have patience and a line doubler like Warn´s pulley I think you would do ok. Ie have and old Warn, but some of my friends have Mile Markers and the only usual problem is line speed.
