Sorry we are not posting much information on the pictures, and the places we have been. We have been living in the moment and being on the internet has been the last thing on our minds. I hope the pictures motivate those at home to hit the Open Road. The adventure continues
Is always fun picking up a place to sleep at nights. Just find a dirt road, drive down it and park it.
9+ miles of Down hill ride to the Valley. I had to
It has been a while sense we updated our location. Living on the road has been a great experience. we have met great people and have learn things that we will apply for the rest of our lives. The journey continues. After Yosemite we went to Santa Barbara, followed by Hollywood, Death Valley...

We made it to Yosemite National Park. We had a wonderful time hiking and meeting new people. We spent the evening sharing stories about our travels with a couple from Spain who had been on the road for a month. It’s these experiences and interactions that make the” road” worth every mile.

Lake Tahoe was a little dried up this time of year, so we got off the beaten path. We found ourselves south of fallen leaf lake at Glen Alpine Falls. Although the views from the parking lot of the falls were already breathe taking, we decided to hike the Glen Alpine trail. We have...

After driving through the Red Woods we decided to head inland away from the coastal rain. We spent the night next to a river in Six Rivers National Forest. When I say next to, I mean the dried up portion of the river bed. It was beautiful but raining. It was the first time we felt off...

We are in California!
Riding through the Redwoods is always breathtaking and humbling. Today was no different. We hiked just a little by a beautiful vivid blue river. At a point, there was an old rope swing over the clear water. It made for a beautiful picture. We saw "Big Tree" again...

We hiked the beautiful Eagle Creek trail in OR yesterday. We went all the way to Tunnel Falls. It ended up being about 14 miles round trip. There are so many amazing landscape photos we could share with you of this hike, but we tried to narrow it down to the highlights. We also wanted to show...
Yes we are still in the area, sticking around until our last car sells. Like a good friend of mine said, "You could be 'held up' in much worse places in the world than the Gorge."

Thank you all for the support and good wishes.
We spent the night up in the mountains outside of Hood River. As we parked our e-brake snapped. After figuring out where and how, then rigging some old-school emergency breaks via rocks, we decided to take showers and call it a night...
Got to spend the day on part of the Oregon Trail. It was a good test run for the truck and our set up. Extremely happy with how everything is turning out. It is wonderful to have a wife that while you enjoy a day on the trail, she enjoyed the day doing her nails. A little bumpy but they turned...
