Amps drawn are an easy way to rank 12 volt compressor performance. With that said it "claims" 45amp and very close to the PUMA. 5.3CFM is at 0psi is my guess and believable. I looked to see if available on Amazon Prime for testing but no luck. In the end Im with you on hard to believe the claims.
These guys have been doing for 40 years also:coffee:
BFG see note #1:rolleyes:

If you dont take airing down seriously in the sand I play in you are not going anywhere. Airing down a open axle vehicle provides 10X the traction of a fully locked vehicle in sand. In this enviroment, not only do you air down you change your PSI during the day.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Im sure you are doing what you feel is right and works for you.
Truth is no tire manufacturer or off-road handbook agrees with you.
I air down!
Give my 1” bar system a try. It takes in consideration type of tire, size and weight. The vehicle pictured is 10700lbs on 37” LT tires. Using our system it should a safe air down to 25.1 psi
Next is a ~9500 lbs on 35,s the system shows 21psi. We did lower the pressure to 18psi on the playa with...
Here is what Michelin said years back for street pressure-
I worked for Michelin Tire Corporation for 7 years and Yokohama Tire Corporation for 11 years. I have given numerous tire seminars on tire maintenance and especially how to determine the correct tire pressures. So here goes.

Tires in the SW run easily 145° at highway speeds in summer months. Our testing has seen the same temps aired down at 45mph and off road wheeling. What do you consider a safe tire temp?
Im open to all methods and admitted nerdy when it comes to airing down.
Here are my results and honestly Im not comfortable.
I do like the 30% of rated tire speed, where did you get that recommendation from?
315/75-16
Start 7.25"
End 5.5"
Final air 7.5psi
275/70-18
Start 5.625"
End 4.0"...
Our PW/FWC is for my wife...heat, toilet, and the ability to stand up and dress. I wanted the 6speed also but the auto is geared low enough for the truck 43:1 although it is only a little more than 1/2 the crawl ratio of yours. It definitely not a Land Cruiser but for a truck it was the best...
Nice find on the 6speed!
Looks like by your screen name we both have move to the side some. The white early 09 above is mine but I will always have my 80 series.
My method of airing down to a safe starting point.
•Place a 1" square piece of steel under the center of your tire.
•Air down until both sides of the tire touch the ground.
This system provides a great safe starting point for airing down. I have used this system on vehicles from 4000 - 12000...
I can only imagine what your weight is knowing that Im at 7050#. Do you know your weight? Remember travel vehicles are like a garage, the bigger the garage the more stuff you have. Be glad you are not in a Rubicon Gladiator with a payload of 1200lbs. o_O
Sadly this type of vehicle/build rarely...
Just as if not more important than rope/strap selection are the drivers on each end of the rope. I have seen a straight forward easy recovery made into a difficult recovery due to a driver's lack of experience or guidance.
