Contact Rhino Rack regarding your pole problem. I had the same problem with 2 of my poles. One was permanently locked and the other would not catch to lock. They took care of me. Just give them a call and be nice.

I've used about everything over the years. Fingernail, pocket knife, backside of a .99cent air gauge, knock off stauns, ARB deflator. Currently using the ARB deflator and enjoying it. Quick and easy with a small learning curve.

Ran Duratracs for about 35-40k miles, great tires...got a little loud on the road towards the end. Currently running KO2s and they are amazing. Quiet, well mannered, great on and off road in mild and sloppy conditions. You'd be hard pressed to find a more widely accepted and trusted tire.

I run a Yeti 1000 in my JKU powering an ARB 50L and multiple cameras, drones, phones, and other random things. I've got a Renogy 100w mounted to my Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform all the time charging the Yeti. When I'm base camped I also add in my Goal Zero 100w briefcase panel. Works great.
