I think you are not understanding how this works.
The DC car charger input you are currently using is limited to 8A - doesn’t matter how much power you supply, the EcoFlow will limit input to 8A.
When it comes to electricity, it is easier to compare wattage rather than amperage. Watts = amps...
The issue is that your EcoFlow limits how much power it will accept so it doesn’t matter how much power you’re able to generate via the alternator:

A friend of mine is selling their Toyota Tacoma in preparation for a move - both literally across the country and into a Super Duty/Total Composites combo. I’m biased of course but I think everyone needs more Super Duties and TC campers. They’ve asked me to list their...
Assuming, based on the description, that it is a Nomadic X2 AC, it is rated at 720W. The battery bank has approx 2520 watt-hours of capacity (12volt x 210amp-hours). I have no idea what the BMS is set to in terms of the discharge floor, but usually they are conservatively rated to an 80% depth...
Removing the sway bars front and rear was one of the first things I did to our truck. There was a bit more sway with the Fox 2.0s and factory springs but it wasn’t too bad.
Once the camper was finished, I had Alcan make use some custom springs front and rear along w/ some ADS 2.5 valved for...
What exactly are you wondering about? Virtually every job will be easier with the motor out from under the cab. The obvious answer would be to address leaks on the motor (eg - turbo pedestal, the fuel bowl, etc) at a bare minimum. Other “upgrade” type projects like the up-pipes and turbo will...
I 100% agree that a hard sided camper is a limitation off road. Based on your initial post, the livability and storage affording by a bigger truck and hard side camper probably provides more value than pure off road performance. Based on your travel aspirations, I don't think that you'll be too...
This is exactly why we have no upper cabinets. When ITB did some initial design drawings for our camper, the COG was still just behind the cab and above the frame rails.
One of the best modifications I've done is to add hydro-assist steering. Besides making turning big tires easy, a side-benefit of hydro-assist is that it is the best steering damper around.
Our camper is around 11'6" tall. It is unaffected by side-winds by and large. Adding hydro-assist is...
You're a beast for installing those yourself! I gave up and had my fab shop install them. They were nice enough to say that it took a few of their guys to get it done, too.
Good question - I don't know. I did not measure the difference in height pre- and post-flatbed install. The flatbed deck height shouldn't be much higher than the floor of the bed itself (this will vary on how the flatbed vs factory bed is mounted).
TBH, it isn't a good idea to compare to other...
AC/DC 12 volt minisplit.
Not the best name tbh. Amazon was the vendor's primary marketplace. This is their website but I ordered mine off of Amazon. It has been unavailable for a while. AT uses them on their Aterras and maybe they have bought all of the supply, idk. I would contact the vendor...
