Very cool Scott
How about air circulation/fresh air for the compressor? How air-tight is the box? Or are you only going to run it when parked/lid open?
Excellent!!
FWIW, here is how I did mine...
(I was going to attach the file here since my website is on the fritz right now, but the limit is 19kb. So here is the link - if it doesn't work, just keep trying periodically. )
WHEW! I was scared there for a minute!

LOL! Oh man, I am probably not the guy to talk to about brakes. My comfort level with weak brakes is scary. In fact, I really need to get mine adjusted. Thanks for reminding me ;) Maybe check out this page...
:Wow1: Please tell me that's after you add the cargo/rack/toolbox/tent setup.
Like I said in the email... it's that hard rocker in you... (insert the head banger smiley here). ROCK N' ROLL!! :xxrotflma GT, I already tried to talk him out of it... it's useless... in the words of John Lee...
Hmmm... I wonder who he could be referring to? :)
Regarding the gears, I think either way you go, there will be times when you smile and times when you roll your eyes. It's that whole trade-off thing.
(insert jumping up and down smiley here) Scott, you need to get some more...
I like your way of thinking Vince! :p (insert laughing smiley here)

This guy does lots of long-range trips all...
Yea, I think you hit the nail on the head there! Good luck with your research. I know when I bought mine, I went through the same thing - information overload!
Indeed! I think you are the first person I have met that actually knew about them. Cool!
I was always curious about that! And the clothes too... I just couldn't imagine it... I think I would be soaked from head to toe... Did you get to test out the bags or clothes?
Here is a pic of my 3R...
