I've been using this Krups model for about a year now. Gives a good consistent grind. It's fairly quick and quiet. Grinder Link

I'm going to guess the ability to use freshly ground coffee as opposed to the ESE pods gives you a better result than the handpresso? What I've found with the handpresso is that it makes a decent espresso, but I feel the oils from freshly roasted/ground coffee are lacking with the ESE pods...

Outfit your Overland Man Cave with proper cuban cigar art (& some non-cuban)

All righty, I got a few of those started. My walls are bare and boring other than a few vintage Fender Guitar items. A few smoking items would be nice. And since this is a good cause, I won't be too upset if I get outbid.

    November Weight Loss Challenge

I don't particularly enjoy exercising. I come up with a million excuses and rationales to avoid getting on that accursed exercise bike. Then I try to convince myself that 10 minutes of fairly vigorous riding was enough; then 20 minutes; then 25 minutes. Once I get to that point I run out of...

Oh man this is killing me. I want to go so bad. Hoping to make it in Feb/Mar of next year. I'm leaving the cats and guitars in Austin so I know I'll have to come back home. But I'm really hoping to be able to go and stay one of these days.

    Big guy bike

Hi. I have a vague idea of what a bicycle is and if the adage is true, I'll remember how to ride one. I hope, otherwise this may be a painful endeavor. I'm presently riding a recumbent exercise bike. This is getting boring. I'm wanting to begin looking for a real bicycle to continue getting...

I saw you visited my profile. Welcome to the board. Nice to see another Jeep owner. I'm sure it's a very different world up where you live, compared to life down here in Texas. Have a nice day. Darin

    November Weight Loss Challenge

Another followup I'm at 143 pounds lost as of today. This week I have committed myself to exercising and have ridden my exercise bike every night - just under 8 miles last night in 1/2 hour. While this may not seem like much to many here - this is much more than I could have considered just a...

    Tonight's Dinner Will Consist Of........

For me, the key to good tofu is cooking it right. It took me awhile to get it to where I like it. I've found that a really hot pan/wok and then putting a lid on it to crisp up the outside gives really good results. I made major, major lifestyle changes earlier this year. Part of that was...

    Tonight's Dinner Will Consist Of........

mmm Stirfry type thing I was starving tonight. I started with organic, extra firm tofu. Got the skillet really hot with some olive oil, tossed in the tofu, some smoked paprika, turmeric, a pepper flake blend, a bit of garam masala and a liberal dousing of Louisiana brand hot sauce. Voila...

    Post Pic's of your Jeep

Added HiLift I don't have a good place to mount my HiLift for when I'm going to go out exploring so I bought one of the tube mount kits and put it on yesterday morning. I know there are pros and cons to putting this thing out front - more weight, if it falls off it will kill me, etc. But I...

    MEX 1 at 45 mph

I would definitely love to read more. I'm trying to get a trip planned that will take me all the way down the peninsula for early next year. I have an uncle living in Pescadero (just south of Todos Santos) and I'm really wanting to go see him, and have a great road trip along the way.

This guy ran into the window of our rental in Allenspark, CO - just outside Estes Park. I held him for a few minutes until his little brain got itself rebooted.
