Walking rules, driving drools.
Usually walk in the evenings around home here, and ran into the neighbor and his wife in their golf cart the other day. They stopped to visit and the conversation turn to the diminishing population of ring-neck pheasants and that they hadn't heard or seen one in...
9pm...past my bedtime, so...watched it this morning. Thanks, for sharing. Heading to the UP in a few weeks, hoping to get to Copper Harbor, procupines and the usually stops.

Heading up there in a few weeks, for eight days. Hoping to travel as close to the lake as possible, with the least amount of pavement, from Whitefish Point up to Cooper Harbor, then back down and across to the Procupines. Did you have any trouble getting a campsite? We're just winging it for...
Inspiring. I'm going to somehow force my wife to read this. I've "finally" talked her into a camping trip next month, baby steps they say. Really, enjoying your journey.

When out exploring with my grandson, 10 years old, l find stopping often to let him explore on foot, shoot the bb gun, throw rocks...helps some. The riding gets tiresome for young minds. Glad you were able to get out. PA is a beautiful state.

Excellent start to an adventure. Kinks will come and go, and you will learn to undo them along the way. Keep the stories coming...and yes...a picture of Pork chop...is...well...required by law, here.
Brian.
Spectacular photos and comments. Thank you, for the report! Need to get back out there again, beautiful stuff. Grantee, that was in 65, canyon was only a few feet deep back then...lol.
