The yellow trail indicates it's going to scrape along the bottom of kansas, along the KS/OK boarder. Is this correct? I'm in Kansas and less than 30 miles from the OK boarder.

We lucked out with our pie irons. We were given 4 cast iron ones that were made by the local foundry back in the '70s. The even have our town name and troop number cast into them. Found the Waffle Dog iron at a local auction, got it for $1!!!

Something to keep in mind... try to get vintage, cast iron ones. These are the ones I grew up with and used in Scouts (1970s - 1980s). We bought some of the more modern ones and they suck compared to those. For fun... hunt down a vintage Waffle Dog iron!

I will have to hunt down some Monkey Gald sauce! It's not the same genera, but if you like hot sauces have you ever tried 'Mama Africa's Zulu Sauce'? Haven't found any Marmite in my area, but Vegemite is available. It's rather expensive here; a small, sample type jar will cost $8 - $10.

I've always thought HP was a bit smoother tasting as well.

Just about every major supermarket chain with an ethnic/foreign section has it. I've seen the blue and green labeled bottles in more than one.
