    The Perfect Brew........!

Right there on the first page of this long thread was the correct answer (although I disagree with the second part as my wife came “out of Texas”). She drinks the Blonde, I drink the high test.

    fridge size for full timing

Hmm...Jay at 420 Farms...I'd like to follow you around! As mentioned, duration between shopping and what you eat are the two biggest factors.

Replace trailer tires due to age not wear?

The beauty of a discussion forum is the differences of opinion that often drive clarity. Such is my strong disagreement with the above post. All tires age out and need to be replaced. Read the date code and then proceed at your own risk! I wouldn’t have tires on any of my vehicles that are over...

    Spray on bed liner

Raptor is excellent. I helped a friend spray his entire suv that was hail damaged. We worked the metal as best we could and sprayed three light coats. It looks great and has held up to several years of off-roading. I plan on spraying my entire van when I start my build in the late spring.

    Offroad Trailer really worth it?

Only you can answer this question. Personally, I would rather have the capability and not need it than need it and not have it.

    Are Alu-Box bear proof ?

I read the best description of “bear proof” a few years ago. The best bear proof is “bear not interested” meaning make your camp uninteresting to any bears in the area or at least less interesting than nearby camps. Bears are master locksmiths. If they can’t open it, they will destroy it trying...

    Integrated Spare Fuel Tank

Here is a link to over 1500 differently shaped fuel cells in both plastic and aluminum that you can sort by dimensions. Searching by “fuel cell” will give you better results as the results are universal and not made to fit a specific vehicle. If one of these won't work you will need...

    Heater hoses

This one is for a 1991 Montero, but may not be the right one. At $10, eBay is the way to go. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F191994334516

If you build it, they will come

Thanks, Drew. There is plenty of room. The one fuel tank sits midway back in the right side. There is an air tank on the other side, but plenty of room given the height and that both driveshafts are offset to the right side. That Nida-core is pretty cool. Unlike most vans my walls are flat, so...

I'm thinking a high top on a rotating turret with twin 30mm Gatling guns. Got to be prepared for zombies and aliens.

Pulling over onto the shoulder - one thing we hate doing.

Wow, glad they are okay and hopefully no major damage. Unfortunately, this was a rookie mistake (I mean no I'll will) probably exacerbated by someone tailgating and the emotional pressure to get out of the way. That rig is heavy! Pulling over simply to let someone with a bee in their pants go...

Why did you choose your specific pop-up camper?

We tried a pop up trailer rental, but found it limited our ability to go “everywhere”. Of course my neighbor then told us a horrible tale of his “friend” who left their trailer at the campsite while they went exploring only to come back and find it gone. Then they got...
