Hi You all,
Lady and I just purchased a new rig and look forward to another project. Our goal is a weekend/full-time rig for exploring rivers and giving us a quality home base on wheels. We purchased a 2001 F250 7.3 4x4 Manual ZF6!!!! with 103,000 miles. Truck was bone stock and one owner...
Thanks guys, just ordered dp tuner, exhaust, and intake from Jodi of DP Tuner and we chatted about updates and stages we will go. Have some rigid industries lights from last build and winch ready.. going to be a little slow, but goal is a norweld style tray for our FWC and lift tires soon.. did...
We are excite to pick up our 2001 F250 7.3 crew cab with 6speed manual 104,000 miles on friday!! We have a FWC and looking to build another fun adventure rig. We sold our last 7.3 and was sad every day it was gone. Gas trucks are fun, but for a camper and trailer in mountains a diesel wins every...
Lady and I are selling our 2002 Tundra 4x4 TRD. We were hoping to keep this truck for a lifetime, but life changes we are moving on. These trucks are proven reliable and quality. Hard to find one with low miles and great condition. This truck is mechanically flawless and in wonderful condition...

No I agree on the lower profile, We have the fleet, already customized interior.. Plus its paid for even better:) Thanks for the pics, when flatbed tool box combo is finished, it will be a practical rig for our camping needs on the river
You have any pics from the rear? I thinking the narrow floor means deeper tool boxes along side .. why I think fleet will have advantage over hawk in outside storag.. long term is flat bed, but just wanted to see rear with
Regular bed
I was going to put down some flooring we had left over in our house to jazz up our FWC. What have you guys that custom built campers used as an insulation layer under floor pieces? Nothing to thick, but thought we could keep some cold out if we could on floor. Tha nKS for suggestions guys
Zach
Lady and I decided to go with a shell side dinete model. WIth winter camping we didnt want a full plumbing system. In the summer we are generally around a river or lake and can find suitable water for cleaning dishes and so on. We just need water for cooking and drinking. We were wondering what...
