yeah Commercial Chains are a bit more H/D, mind you, The Company did recommend them for my Ford Transit, But for the blacktop and graded dirt roads they are fine,
Still love that picture of your Jeep in the Snow, (y)
Sounds like you have it all worked out, It is not something a person can rush in to, It has cost me $$$ since I started playing with these things, And the more I do the less I know, (y)
I agree, With the Generator what size Plug In Charger do you use to Charge the Battery Bank, ? Reason I ask is because I was trying to find a workshop type charger with a Guaranteed UP TO 100A out put, I bought a 35Ah Charger a long while ago and the best I have seen it put out is about...
No solar system is going to compete with bushfires near by, even one as big as yours, Your system is powering a House, My system is also powering a house the only differance is I have switched all my Appliances to either 12v or AC Low watt units, Where 8.2 Kwh yours produces in an hour would...
These large so called SoGens could pass gas powered Generators, Some are lighter and some are cheaper than their Gas powered counterparts, I have a few 500wh+ models and I bought 2 huge 1800Wh models this weekend and they are game changers, You can go camping for a week and never have to charge...
To charge Deep Cycle batteries properly using a Normal Charger charging 2x 115Ah batteries can take up to 27 hours or more at around 8 or 9A from a 50% SOC so charging monster batteries is going to take days, Because Deep Cycle Batteries don't like being beaten in to submission,
If I am...
Sounds like you need to desulphid your batteries, My batteries hold 13.4v for 24 hours after coming off the charger, What I do is charge them until they reach 14.8v and let them sit doing that for between 2 to 4 Hours and then I remove the Normal lead Acid charger and then I let the Noco G26000...
Yeah they have since put it up to 20% for the last 3+ years, Heaven forbid If I import anything from the US, A friend sent me a T-shirt and although he paid the postage I had to then pay Import Duty @ 20% plus Postage, and they were based on the Cost of the Shirt add that to the cost of the...
The early Yeti's were not voltage regulated meaning you could drain them down in to the danger zone, I have a few Lithium Packs and when I am Travelling I plug the fridge into either the Vehicles Cigar socket or Plug my Dometic PLB in to the Cigar socket and plug the fridge in to the PLB so when...
A lot of people rage about AGM, I just don't like em, My Lead Acid Batteries posted above have higher Voltage and I can run my ARB Fridge in Freezer mode for a good 24 hours before the voltage even reaches 12.7v, And using Smart Chargers for AGM Batteries is a pain because they have a set way of...
With all the Lithium Tech on the market nower days and with the amount of Sun California gets I would of thought that Lithium/Solar Generators would of been the best way to go, Every week someone brings out a new model and the prices are falling,
I just bought Two large ones this weekend.
These Batteries are made According to American Specs, If you read the Info and the specs they say it can be discharged up to 70% and in the specs below it says it has a 600 cycle life, I bought mine I think it was in June 18th 2017.
Hope that helps...
Looks like in Parts of America are needing Generators more than ever Now, poor buggers, I love the Snow but not everyone has the Gear I got to get through it, (y):love::love:
Sorry I did not go in to it well enough,
So to covert MPH to Km's per Imp Gallon to US Gallons and then in to Gram/Kgs
@64.2mpg X 1.609km = 103.2978kms per Imp Gallon/4.55L.
103.2978Kms / 4.55 Litres = 22.7028131868 Ks per Litre.
1 US Gallon = 4 Litres +/- .
22.7028131868 X 4 = 90.8112527472...
