^I'll add that I guess it depends on how much you cook (need fresh ingredients), and as well are away from even at least a minimart for basics? When the wife and I go camping, we usually only cook once a day (dinner) as we just like to keep cooking to a minimum, including to do more prep work at...
I have the 42 in the back of my TJ. The reason I bought it is the limited space that I have. It fits under a rack and I still have space to the left for stuff. For my wife and I, the 42 is plenty of interior room, and in fact more room then we use to have with an ice cooler. I recently bought a...
I took a Jeep from essentially 265s to 285s, and lost 2+ mpg (which was a 15% decrease), which just furthers that trip planning includes gas stations. I have a new Tacoma that I'll only go from 265/70 to 265/75... I have already told myself that I won't be going to 285s.
If you really like...
I just saw that 392 Hemi in the JL Concept. Pretty cool... if they can make it work with crash safety? Last fall I was looking at 2500 Ram with the 6.4 Hemi which is awesome, once you get past the mpg. The diesel of course has the added range, which is certainly its benefit.

The Day Tank with the Tacoma bed rail mount is a cool idea.
As far as two gallons, my wife and I find that's just the right amount of water for us to share to have a decent shower. (And I see the Day Tank is four gallons... nice!)
I keep my Snomaster usually at 32 degrees. I always pack it cold/stuff already frozen, and stuff I want to keep frozen, I place on the bottom. I've noticed meat for example is still 98% frozen three days later when I pull it out. I have also noticed ice cream at the top has gone soft. Beer...
I hear you as it’s not an easy decision! I recently bought a Tacoma for a second build. I’ve been driving a Jeep TJ with a box trailer and RTT. The setup will go a lot of places, but the wife and I are tired of no where to go to get out of the weather, along with no heat!
The issue I have with...
Did you search for similar Tacoma's in your area? Michigan vehicles tend to have a lot of rust, so being that they've replaced the frame, that's got to be a big improvement over most similar year mid-size trucks?
