I would think the FUSO with a custom box option would give you the most flexibility. The Earthcruiser is designed as a very compact package I do not think it has many options for the kind of storage you are looking for.

+1 on the Hillebergs. I have two of them. I have yet to find a better made tent. If you want quality that will likely outlast your travels, they make the quality you need.

I use em, and use em up. After a 4-5 years they are pretty beat up. But by then I am due for updates anyway. At about 20 bucks each I am not too disturbed. That's why I am not allowed to have nice things.
