Couple of grainy iphone photos of the completed lid. I'll be building the tent rack tonight. I am still waiting on gas struts and the weather stripping, but it's getting close.

well, 5 months after starting the lid frame I have it mostly completed. I still need to finish the new rack for the tent over the next couple days before heading to Moab on the weekend to demo Tepui tents. Overall, I'm glad to finally have a lid on the trailer for better security and...
If you don't follow Tepui on FB you may have missed the announcement of an exciting new product. Custom Embroidered fitted sheets for your RTT. I just got a set of these and they are really nice if you prefer to sleep with sheets and blankets instead of a sleeping bag. The benefit of these...

If you have a failing locking tab, that could be a different issue. If you suspect that is what you're dealing with, send an email to warranty@tepuitents.com with a description...
If anyone is going to be at Jeep Safari next week, I will be set up outside the Gearheads shop on Main Street all day Saturday (3/26) showing Tepui Tents. I'll have a couple different models there to check out and can answer any questions and take on the spot orders too.

I'll also be at...
With the ladder, extend it out from the bottom rung first so that unused rungs are collapsed at the top. There are "half steps" between locking points that will also "lock" rungs in place. If you have other questions, feel free to ask here. I may be able to respond quicker than the guys at...
I can always offer 10% off to forum members. Southeast Overland in SC is probably the nearest dealer. Tepui is working on building their eastern dealer base. It looks like there will also be a new one in Atlanta right away.
The trick with the racks is with the feet and their location. Most newer vehicles use the roof tracks with captured nuts for the factory racks instead of rain gutters like on older vehicles. The tracks and captured nuts are in different locations on different vehicles making it not really...
The Tepui Ayer is slightly more compact than other Tepui tents. It's 11" tall (without the ladder and rails), 12" with just the rails. So to fit what you need you'd need to remove the ladder. I've seen several people who do that. Tepui also sells quick release brackets for the ladders if...
Most of you know about Tepui and their excellent reputation for quality roof top tents. Did you know that Tepui also has great expedition quality gear bags? Tepui has offered these for a couple years now and they have been growing in popularity as more people have started using them. I can...
Got a bit of trail time in Canyonlands over the weekend. I really needed it to clear my head. My brother in law came along in his really nicely set up LX470.

Gotcha, I suppose those would work in a pinch but I'd be worried about breaking the plastic. A lot heavier forces on those with a tent than with a ski rack. Better than nothing.
We may be talking about two different things. Maybe I'm mistaken but it sounds like you're talking about the mounting rails themselves.
The parts that people are looking for are the brackets. These are the pieces not in stock at the moment.
