When you say problems, do you mean with the water temp? (as you mention EGT hasn't been a problem)
The M&D kit came with a T for the engine oil coller to connect to the line to the coolant expansion tank. That's a lot of 'to's in one sentence. Pendy suggested connecting that instead directly...
And as to those who helped with the measurements, I have put in an order for an Eezi-Awn T-Top 1400. I'll either get it Wednesday (to the shop where the truck is) or pick it up if I can swing a trip to Utah. Depending on when the 110 is ready, it might get it's first use on a Suburban. :smileeek:
I went with the HD unit from M&D. I know some Caly people mention problems here and there, but I'll give it a try for my uses and see how it works (since it's already here). I might also see about tying in the engine oil cooler to the spare nipple on the radiator. I think there's one anyway...
Hello???? there's a link in my sig line. :) I know, you already found it and there aren't a lot of pictures there. B ut I did update it yesterday to include the fact that it has been shipped off to a good mechanic to be finished. I just ran out of time (how you can run out of time after a...
Is that code for "people are arguing"? I honestly haven't heard it in an internet forum before.
Or amI just clueless again and it means something else?
thanks!
The frog shot was actually taken by my wife, but with 'my' camera (not so much mine any more :( ) It was shot with a 24-105 lens at 105mm and a distance of maybe 1.5' with ISO400 setting. I love the Canon 5D as a 100% crop gives you the eye below.
The second picture is the little guy...
Yeah, I could have stayed there all day staring at them. It's amazing to see them hidden as well, I'll see if I can find that photo as well.
In the mean time, here's a couple more. I love the eyes of the osprey.
the problem is, the ones that hate us for it, close the places we can do it. :(
Maybe I'm worrying too much about closures and other things and should just shut up now.
As for the Christmas tree video, give me a break. You're going a little overboard there. Trying to compare a tree farm, where timber is just a crop, to a tree growing out by a dry creek......cummon.
Just keep hacking up trees on the trail because they might hit your lights and posting the...
I agree with Kermit's point about living in a cave and how environmentalists don't always live the talk.
But Luis, you are really missing the point and going off on tangents. As stated before, it's less about hacking trees and more about getting lands to offroad on closed.
When a judge says...
Steve and Dave, thanks!
I plan to put it out the back as I'll be getting a T-Top most likely. It sounds the same as the jumbo addition for the Hannibal and I'd like it for the same reasons you note. However we won't be bringing cots as those dang, clunky, space hogs are one thing I want to...
Ok, I was wrong. that tree really wanted its limb chopped off. Let's take out as many trees as we want to make a trail (mind you, in the video there is someone going AROUND that tree in the background). Go ahead, it's ok, they don't mind. tell the Tread Lightly people they are crackpots too...
LOL!! Never trust a man in his PJs, I always say. :wings:
57" makes it the perfect width for a 1400, which is 57" wide according to the pages. the 1600 is 6" more. Maybe I'll try blocking off 6" of our queen sized bed and see how that works one morning. Or I could possibly have my daughter...
I third or forth, or how many we are up to, the comments on customer service. They are replacing 5 of mine when only three show leaks (after REALLY cranking down on the air vent) and the other two have to be wrenched down. They stated you shouldn't have to grind them in to make them not leak...
Andrew, thanks for the fortitude!! 55" would mean the best Eezi-Awn tent would be a 1400. Hmpph. I was hoping the 1600 would work as that makes it easier for 3 people to sleep (especially when one is a 5 year old who thrashes around a lot).
Currently I'm not thinking of a full rack, just...
I'm no extremist, I just think hacking a branch over a wash because you might hit your lights is lame. It doesn't hurt it at all??? Huh? Ok, try cutting all the branches off and see how long it lives. "That tree didn't want that branch there anyway, it didn't need it."
That's the kind of...
I'm curious what the answer is. Why'd they need to hack it up instead of just holding it over the top of the trucks?
The rest of it looks like some good wheeling and a fun day.
