Ironically, the dealer had 3 modified F250's... lift, cosmetics... each over $100K. Sales guy told me they'd be sold w/in a couple of weeks. :o

couldn't do it. I sold my IS300, in large part, because I couldn't drive it w/o being in pain. Seating position was comfortable, but killed me. I still struggle in most cars, though not nearly as much as a number of years ago.
Seeting positions are the same in both. Seats are different, but up through 02/04 redesign, Identical. I’d challenge they were almost identical until 5th gen 4Runner releases.
Reality is that the government is forcing the end if diesel. Between ULSD and emissions, and the fact that even with the best of technologies, companies are unable to pass gov't standards... tells us either the government standards are idiotic... or they are working exactly like the government...
