The interior is really nice for a Tradesman. I see they went with the button 4x4, mine has the stick shift. There is something child like that kicks in when you shift into 4x4 :)
Sorry no build thread - I don't have any good pictures of it just yet. Will send you some when I finally get some. Camper is off the truck at the moment while I finish adding some stuff to the box
What a beautiful truck! I am building out a Ram 2500 single cab long bed. FWC Raven and custom box to fill the void. Specifically went looking for a tradesman. ARB front and rear and 4.56 gears, AEV front bumper, Aluminess rear.
A few years back somebody posted up an ambulance box camper build. The interior was made with various Starboard thickness sheets. His review after was : cost 3-5X the cost of marine ply, longer unsupported spans eventually sagged, limited ways to make strong joints. You did mention...
Eporter- This is based on a butt dyno and a short time driving a 351 not scientific :) 15 or so years ago I had a 89 with the 460. It seemed to get 8-11 mpg no matter what it was towing or if I had my Lance Cab over towing my rock buggy. It would run with very little fuss. Now that same...
I ended up with this rig - it is pretty cool and it pretty good shape. It has the 351 not the 460. It won't really work for the application I had in mind. I guess you could say I am flipping it, but really want to get my money back out of it. I messaged the couple when it was listed at...
Of those listed I don't think you can go wrong. You might decide based on availability and proximity to dealer/ manufacturer support. I have owned a Hallmark in the past and my buddy an Outfitter the other a NorthStar. The fit and finish of the Hallmark and Outfitter was very high end boat...
Been trying Google and this forum - Is anybody familiar with the Granning Air Glide airbag suspension system found in the bigger Ambos - The question is : To swap to singles in the rear that is equipped with the above suspension is it as simple as running the bags set higher? Can a...
I am interested in this as well as eventually I would like to duplicate my old box truck but with the modern gas engine. In my box truck the box and pass through were all solid mounted. It did a lot of off-roading and didn't seem to be trying to rip itself apart. It would be interesting to...
Had an Aims all in 1 Inverter/Converter/Charger It died twice in less then a year ( plenty of space for ventilation, not really even used to power big items)
Installed a Renogy 2000 similar type product in a friends Van 2 years ago and its still cracking away but has some issues initially...
After many years and many different configurations the Weber Q grill has been the best all around. If we don't have fire restrictions ( seldom) Weber Smokey joe
This was for sale a while back but on through a Mexico craigslist- No idea how I found it. I asked many questions and couldn't get a clear answer. It was also like 20k cheaper
