I read quite the opposite. Scott's list is very reasonable. But i do see endless "rigs" here that cost absurd amounts of money, and i agree with you that the focus should be on the experience and adventure, not the "stuff".
I'm moving away from a full FR rack but want to add 2 or 3 simpler load bars. Looking for any ideas on configuring something to attach to the factory rails to support them instead of the $$ FR foot rail kit.
