    Dead Battery advice

I'd make sure the battery is at or above 13.2 prior to attempting to start - "full" on a 12v battery is in the range of 14.2-14.4 or so. Some people will say 12.7v is 'fully charged' but it depends on the type of battery and how old it is. 12.5 definitely isn't 'full.' Whenever I've had a...

Emotion Over Logic - The AdvRovr Range Rover Sport Build Thread

GVIF was the piece I was missing - looks quite simple now that I know it exists... I'm not having a lot of luck with finding how the touchscreen operates - there are a few different standards out there, if we could nail down which one is used by the factory touchscreen, this could be as simple...

Emotion Over Logic - The AdvRovr Range Rover Sport Build Thread

I'm suddenly interested, and my Google-**** is failing me for resources. What are you planning?

    Lr4 roof racks

FYI: The FR rack needs about 6 inches from the top of the rear of the truck to the bottom of the garage door. Source: Mine just barely fits :)

Dual battery install on my 2009 LR3

I think it all depends on how often you drive. If I don't run the truck for 20-30 minutes every 4 days or so, the battery is dead. Granted, this is the secondary battery, so it doesn't really matter, but I wouldn't want to have a problem with my primary battery. When I was driving it every...

New Owner - Same Old Question

As others have said, 18" is the smallest we're able to run in the LR4. If you don't want to drop $800 a corner, take a look at the terraforma wheels from lucky8. They've been on my rig for about 10k miles, no issues yet. (They do require spacers though)

Atlantic British unrolls Terra Firma 18" steelies for LR3

No issues lock to lock at normal or high suspension height. Low suspension does rub about 1/2 way in either direction. Offset is provided by 30mm spacers: https://www.lucky8llc.com/collections/wheels-10/products/lr4-18x8-steel-wheel-set-of-4

Atlantic British unrolls Terra Firma 18" steelies for LR3

They're super heavy. The tire place I went to had some trouble balancing them they were so heavy... I think the shipping weight on each wheel alone was 35 lbs, but I find that hard to believe. I need to rotate them in a few weeks. If no one else chimes in, I'll weigh them as they come off.

Atlantic British unrolls Terra Firma 18" steelies for LR3

Here's a few photos. The first shows the offset that makes the stance a bit wider than OEM. Let me know if you have any specific photo requests. All but the one offroad shot is at normal suspension height.

Atlantic British unrolls Terra Firma 18" steelies for LR3

I've had them since late December on my LR4 with spacers from Lucky 8. No issues other than some slight rubbing when at full lock and suspension lowered. I've got 265/60R-18 T/A KO2's on them. I can't compare any other tire since I went from OEM to this, but they're far and above better than OEM.

NAS LR3 build with an overseas twist

Got it. I have the shark fin, so plan B is in order :)

NAS LR3 build with an overseas twist

Ray_G How did you route the wires to the roof? I'm planning on putting an antenna up there sooner or later and would not like to re-learn what someone else has already learned.

Need some tech help in buying an LR3

This. There are a ton of LR3/LR4 out there, don't bother with this. The sunroofs leak horribly on some LR3s if they get clogged. Just find another one.

    2012 LR4 TPMS

I just did this last week on my 2013. It's under BCM-Body Control. There are two settings, I set them both to None and the warning went away.

Advice on tire size for LR4 with 19" rims

There is a new option for 18" LR4 wheels. Terrafirma now makes some steel ones. They do still require a spacer, but it's another option. Atlantic British and Lucky 8 carry them in the USA. But yeah - most decent tire options require an 18" wheel.

LR3 Tire Size to prevent rubbing

Dumb question alert: Does anyone know if this applies to the LR4 as well? or is this one of the things they've changed? (specific to the tire clearance. I know 18" wheels are an issue)

    Lr4 roof racks

I have the Front Runner rack. It doesn't cause any interference with GPS or XM. However, it is LOUD. I've ended up taking the rack its self off, and leaving the mounting kit on, just so I can use the sunroof over 25 MPH. Even with the windows and sunroof closed, it's still very noticeable at...

    Hood lettering

What color do you need? I have the Dark Grey ones off a black LR4 that I could send you. The adhesive isn't on the backing anymore though. Alternatively, there are some sexy aftermarket ones out there: http://www.lrparts.net/
