Concur with the "more hassle than it's worth" replies. At the least, I'd suggest playing around with it at home before you're on an adventure and have better things to do than play with settings on your IID app on the phone. I tried this once and seemed like it took 1/2 hr to get the vehicle...

I've had Baja Rack on mine for the past 5 yrs or so. No complaints, and it has served me well. I didn't notice any increase in noise when I put it on, but by now, it's just part of the vehicle. I posted about my cheap key replacement and IID Tool reprogramming on another thread. Still working fine for me after 6 mo or so - I got two. Look at it this way, IID Tool is close to a must have for these vehicles, and you depreciate it right away.
