Truck was used (or not used) by a local, to the seller, utility company. The mileage is stated to be correct. If you look at the engine pics, it does look like nothing has been "crecked" open on it. Good luck, go for it.

Does it matter if they are on or off? I think the only reason you want to take them off is to have less wind resistance thus bettr MPG!!
