Snow yes, ice no
Although the fat tires have great grip on almost anything, they suck on sheet ice.
I tried a small patch that I thought I could get across, the bike slipped out from under me and somehow I shattered my ankle. No more biking for a while.
Be careful out there!
Options
I owned one. I could not get the stains out of the pop up fabric, but I soaked it with bleach and then rinsed it off. That got rid of the mustiness. I did not need to replace the lift panels, but if I did, I'd do it myself using the existing as templates and reusing the hinge...
CUCV m1010
Take a look at these. It might not be quite tall enough inside though.

My understanding is that there were a few of these made by the company that split into FWC and Provan that makes the Tiger
I'd love to find out if is for sale, and what condition it is in. That is a big roof to lift by hand.
The trim strip was made to adjust for different wall thicknesses of different RV manufacturers. So if you can remove the trim strip, then install your thicker panel, your screws will make new holes in the window frame, but the old holes will be covered. No problem.
Those other insulation...
If you take out the window from the outside, you can get to the small screws that secure the trim strip. Unscrew those, remove the trim strip, reinstall the window, install the paneling then install the trim strip.
I think that I'll use 2 layers of the http://www.reflectixinc.com/ insulation...
The inside brown trim strips were installed before the windows were installed. So to detach the trim strip, one needs to remove the window. I however just pulled the 1/8" paneling away from the staples, it was pretty brittle and broke away easily. When I repanel the interior, I'll need to...
Nice cabinets
I'm finishing up rebuilding the subfloor and wheel well under the bench.
Then onto insulation and paneling the walls and ceiling.
Having the nice weather sure helps.
That Beltline leak issue a foot below the window rotted all the wood that supports the alum skin from the seam...
No Progress
Too much ice and snow on top, around and under the truck this week. Hopefully I'll be able to replace a section of rotten wood floor under the water tank this weekend. Now that the demo is done, it is all rebuilding from here.

Shower Pan removal
Were you able to get the shower pan out without cutting the drain lines from below? I can't see how else to do it. I'd rather not have to drop the tanks.
Prepare for fuel pump replacement
While you have the fridge and flooring out, consider cutting a opening in the plywood floor (in the exact spot that your right hand is resting in your first photo on this thread).
This panel can be reinstalled to make it easily removable in the field or auto...
How far are you gutting yours
Paul,
I've now got my 94 Tiger CX stripped down to the framing inside. If you are not removing your headliner, you may be able to inject some foam up into the cavity between the head liner and the roof.
If you want to take a look and talk shop next time you are...
Doing the same thing today
I'm in Boulder. I'm stripping out my 1994 tiger right now.
I'd be interested in contacting your cabinet builder as I can see that this will be a bunch of work.
I'm surprised to find that there is no insulation in the roof.
Make sure you strip off the side interior...
