    My new ZJ Expedition Rig

    I just picked up a set of 31in Radial Mud Claws for my non snow months here in Maine. I ran em on my xj in 33 in variety and loved em. Were great in deep powder. Im also building a rear bumper hopefully soon. Stay tuned.

    Canvas Tent?

    Heres my 1960 Eureka Drawtite canvas tent. I love this thing in bad weather. Has the rubberized floor in it as well. In colder weather i use a Coleman Bearcat tent heater and it gets nice and toasty. In heavy rain i throw a matching tarp over it. Works great. And i can have it set up in about 5...

    Kelly Safari TSR Tire Review

    Ive had mine for a year now and what a great tire. They are wearing well and have held up thus far for wheeling up here in the great northeast. Make an awesome snow tire as well. I wish they made em in a 33in for 15 in rims. Im actually considering another set when these need replacing.

    Thanks man. Yeah the flying moose legend is pretty cool. There is all sorts of cool history here. I lived out your way for 2 years. I was stationed at Fort Carson. Spent alot of time wheeling out there.

    I somehow double posted my last one. Oops. Heres a pic i found of Bald mountain looking across Moxie lake. You cant match the beauty of the North Maine Woods area. We love venturing out and exploring. And im happy to share with others and you all enjoy them.

    Yes the campsites are open to anyone. You just need to get a fire permit from the General store intown Bingham. But there are no fees.

    New ZJ build New to the portal

    Welcome to the portal. Nice to see another zj on here. Id go with a decent set of agressive all terrain tires and some underbody protection and a small lift. There are plenty of builds on here including mine. Check em out and find out what works for you.

    Thanks alot. With a 2 in spacer and 31s you should be able to wheel and explore most trails and backcountry here in the northeast. Happy trails.
