I'd love to stay Toyota and do exactly as you suggest and plug in a 2UZ; it would fit soo nice in the engine bay too... we have one in the shop getting ready to power an FJ-40. Problem I've learned is the ECU is very painful to crack vice the easily programmed and tuned LS motor ECU.

This is great news for the second gen Tacoma owners. Since its original development, the product has been installed and used on several trucks, all with good results.
This makes my list of 2012's best products. So its got that going for it... almost wish I had a second gen.
