    Containerized: Retromod Global Tacoma

Like I said, it's a spectacular build and I appreciate the stylistic changes you've incorporated... I just don't want to see/hope it doesn't get destroyed - it's so unique it needs to be cherished. Thanks and I get your explanation - it makes sense when working as a team - you've clearly...

    Containerized: Retromod Global Tacoma

Agreed... I'll wait until it's done, but I'm thinking the cool factor has been attained and the overall results will be spectacular. However, respectfully, I can't help but scratch my balding noggin' on the utility factor; for example, bobbing the bed in an overlanding vehicle intended for...

    98 4Runner - Dirt Duster Build

The dismal weather gives Crowsnest a really mysterious and dramatic appearance - I'd say you lucked out. I was in AZ in May with freeze, dragonlady, fjtent, and Mike... and where were you? Better get your truck ready for next years CT4WD trip to Moab and OX13 - it will be epic!

    OzTent RV5 FOR SALE!!!

You can fit 4 cots in an RV5; add the side and front panels and you can have more than enough room for the dogs, plus it's fully screened for ventilation as a shaded room for napping children. I really like my RV2 with the panels - it's served me well in fare and foul weather.

Probaby a MaxTrax add. Post #135 offers the most pragmatic solution, although LAOutbackTrail can speak authoritatively on the subject.

    "ATO Expedition 1" build

Nice job! I know what it's like to get 2 batteries up there and you did clean work. I'll live with the limited headlight bulb access since I've only replaced them once in the 12 years I've owned the vehicle.

    Bug Out Vehicle

On a completely different subject related to Teotwaki's earlier observation in post #109, would said individual's abrupt, organizationally-driven departure apply to all known relatives, too?

    The Mongrel: FJ62 body + FZJ80 chassis + turbo diesel + ???

Awesome Ian! Here I was expecting a big wooden crate with stickers all over the sides... but shipping it in the original old truck was probably the best option for protection. That engine does sound pretty motivating - bet you can't wait to dig into the project and start swapping parts; thanks...

    Keen Shoes

Funny... I've got 3 pair of sandals, a pair of slip-ons, a pair of pull-on boots, and some lace-ups. Age of some of those shoes must be between 7 to 4 years and they've worn great. Now judge his experience and my "50,000 mile" experience... that should make your brain hurt.

    Dumb ARB fridge ?

Like grimbo described, I keep my fridge in the back of the truck (ute - AUS), except during winter, I have the cover for it and I have a CANBACK top. It gets plenty of exposure to dust, heat, and some occasional rain (with the top up) but not an excessive amount. For the last 3 years it's been...
