I solved the hot flooring issue by using exhaust wrap on all the areas that matter. its lasted 7 years and now i need to rewrap a couple of areas. But it works great and i highly recommend doing this on your Gen 3

Ya...best thing I did was to raise hitch up. ..hated dragging all the time. I just cut and lifted it up. When I built the rear bumper it is all attached to the hitch mounts so that it can be removed if needed easily.

My wife has a 2011 Odyssey and loves it. It gets used for family trips. We avg 28-29mpg and if i hypermile it and keep it under 80mph I have gotten as high as 32mpg. The new gen Odys are awesome and thats coming from a used to be "Anti-van" person.

I've been there once...like was said earlier, all of us have been there or WILL be in that situation @one point. I avoid mud like the plague now....hate it.
