All:
I've read through many of the Tacoma towing posts and would still like to hear from others who have towed 1,500 to 2,000 pounds long term with their 2000 - 2004 4x4 Tacomas. I realize our trucks can tow 5,000 pounds across town, but I'm looking at towing a trailer for a couple of thousand...

Hello:
We've used a roof-mounted Maggiolina on our Tacoma for several years. We're now considering mounting it on our M416 to get the weight lower & reduce air resistance at highway speeds.
One anticipated drawback to a trailer mount is dust. Anyone with a trailer mounted Maggiolina have...

I'd like to trade a well setup '87 4runner Expedition truck for a late model, low mileage Vstrom. Prefer DL1000, but could be swayed by the right DL650. Trade could be straight across or added cash either way depending on mileage, year and farkles.

Hello:
Way back in the '70s I bought several of these small sealed aluminum containers from Early Winters. EW listed them as Japanese food containers. They're great for organizing small stuff that you want to protect from moisture and/or getting crushed. They are similar to the Sigg boxes...

Hello:
I haven't been on the list for awhile, but I received the following message about a great M416 trailer (one of the cleanest I've seen) in Florida for $1,000. No connection and I've only seen the pictures. I apologize if this has already been listed here.

Hello:
Our 2004 DC Tacoma 4x4 has developed an annoying rattle in the driver's side window. If the window is up there is no rattle, but if the window is down it rattles. The passenger side has a much less pronounced rattle, but it is noticeable when the door gets closed with the window down...
I'm considering mounting an Optima battery on it's side to exploit an available tight spot in our Tacoma.
I've seen lots of references about how Optima (and other AGM) batteries can be mounted sideways, but I'd like to hear if anyone has had problems with Optimas mounted that way?

Hey -
What's the trick to removing a front seat from the mounting (adjustable slide) rail? I have the seat out of the truck, but I can't figure out how to release the rails and slide the seat off of the rails. It looks like it ought to be simple....
I'm experimenting with different...
