Ooo - sarcasm - I bet you're a sierra-hot lawyer AND a Type 07 FFL with SOT Status! It stings - it stings!
By gosh - you're right; and I never stated that he didn't say "other;" that wasn't my point. His inference that it was impossible for a private citizen to own automatic weapons unless...
Only if you promise to re-read mine. Tell me how my original statement and the one you just cited is wrong. I mentioned nothing about pre-1986 weapons.
I'm not arguing that point. He said private citizens cannot own automatic weapons and the only way to do it is through a trust or as a corporation. That's not totally true according to BATF regulations. Now tell me I'm wrong again...
IBS battery management system. Stupid simple - completely reliable. Not the most inexpensive option but you only pay for reliability once. I've had it for 3 years.
No, you are wrong. Private citizens can possess automatic weapons. All NFA items must be registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (BATF). Private owners wishing to purchase an NFA item must obtain approval from the BATF, obtain a signature from the Chief Law...
Build your own. That way you have a rifle completely customized to your requirements. It isn't rocket-surgery... and you already do everything to your truck, why not your own AR? With what you save from buying a complete rifle OTS you can build a couple.
Well said Humphrey. You're absolutely right - most Americans would have little tolerance for criticism of our policies from other citizens not of the US. You and Australia deserve that same respect. As a fellow veteran and shooting enthusiast I understand and support your points completely...
The American measurement system derived from the English? The same lot that sentenced their ne'er-do-wells to a colony in the Southern Hemisphere "downunda?"
Don't get your panties in a knot; and I'm not arguing with you. I'm trying to understand you're modifications - thanks for the picture. Since I have a Partner stand your table option gives me more flexibility and utility. I think it's a good idea.
Not intending to be argumentative but the stand in your pictures looks exactly like mine, with pins to capture the sleeves attached to the angle brackets. In fact, I fabricated a back bracket with utensil hooks that fits on the pins of the stand to prevent my stove from sliding in the frame and...
This looks exactly like the stand for my Cook Partner stove with the addition of the table top and their support brackets. http://www.partnersteel.com/?detail_page&record=windscreen
I don't believe you can get a lower wattage incandescent 1156 bulb. Lower wattage will come from a different type bulb, like the LED.
What's the problem with LED's? Long life, low power demand, extremely bright - all sound ideal to me.
What do I think? Toyota all the way.
However, I think I would immediately call the bank and get pre-approved for financing before I signed the purchase contract for one, and sell my Tacoma privately.
