There's no four wheel drive but it claims not to need it (doubt that). It comes in a flat pack box and can be assembled in 12 hours. No details on pricing yet but aimed at developing countries. Possible to put 4wd in it? Already diesel. Might be...
I have a possibly dumb question...your front end looks "slimmer" than trixter's. What's the difference there? Why does yours look more svelt and his looks burlier?
I don't want to throw a wrench in anything but how does a newer xterra compare to either of these trucks? The cost is similar to a 4th gen (8-17ish k) but it would be significantly newer with less miles.
I'm considering finally getting my first overland vehicle this fall. I'm debating between a 4th gen and 5th gen 4 runner. I backpack, climb, and canoe. So I'm really looking for something that can be comfortable, carry gear, and mainly get out of trouble down FS roads. Not really looking to run...

I normally would never post anything like this because I hate even the chance of being associated with the word "spam" BUT I think this is worth sharing honestly. There's a new bike company called Brilliant Bikes with a direct to consumer model. They sell high tensile steel bikes with horizontal...
Looking for an RRC to make more reliable and eventually become a daily driver. Considering these two while my truck still runs (it has 193k on it, ford sport trac). Any advice would be welcome as there's a huge difference in price point. Thanks...
