Hello Hodor:
I and some colleagues who drive 2012 through 2017 Fuso FGs with alloy wheels purchased through EarthCruiser have found that braking shudder can be completely eliminated. Others doubt our results or have been unable to satisfactorily reduce the shudder. If you'd like to try what...
A couple of thoughts:
1. As you mock up space and fittings via tape on the floor of your shop, you might consider getting some large cardboard or thin plywood to mimic walls so you could have a 3D appreciation of moving about within the space. I've done the tape layout in the past and then...
Hello Superduty:
I prefer two things in the iPads I use for GAIA:
1. Cellular capable to make downloading maps faster & easier in my situation and to get a dedicated GPS.
2. Just a bit more memory than I initially thought I could afford. Current iPad 12.9 has 1 TB. About 350 - 400 GB of...
I don't know what that module does, but I'm happy with the parts department at Lone Star Truck & Equipment in San Antonio Texas. They've helped get parts to us when we were without power in a remote region of Northern New Mexico.
Give them a call at +1 201 667-9599, ask for Darryl and see if...
NOPEC's advice is solid. Only change for me would be Tyvek tape instead of duct tape as I hate the duct tape residue. The physics is wind resistance increase as the square of the speed increase.

This really helps when trying to recover a vehicle from "above". About the only disadvantage is the occasional difficulty in finding an anchor for the redirect point. Until the vehicle to be recovered or the winching vehicle moves, the force on the redirect anchor can be considerably higher...
Hello Bartoz:
Sorry to hear of your brake shudder. I and several colleagues have experienced this on Canter FGs between 2012 and 2018. In many of those cases the problem was related to a combination of rims not being perfectly centered on the hubs when mounted, and/or inappropriately torqued...
Then look into synchronizing for Android. Basics are simple - get central GAIA account to contain everything from the the mobile device you used to create or upload waypoints, tracks, etc via synchronizing that device first.
Then synchronize any other devices upon which you want to display...
Definitely having fun, but a Rolling Starbucks we aren’t - much, much better coffee than Starbucks!
First EC in 2014 drove for 4 years, sold and purchased second Which we’re in now. Our daily driver is 22 years old - we spend a lot on a few things that matter to us!

Synchronize account on iphone first, wait until done, them synchronize on iPad. Waypoints you’ve saved should be on both devices. If synchronizing is new to you Google synchronize GAIA account. Lots of tutorials out there.

Ohhhhhh nooooooooo! That would never cut it in our truck. Wife gets a double shot cappuccino from immediately ground beans, shots pulled via Breville Bambino Plus (all manual settings), 8 oz manually steamed milk all before she leaves the bed. Have I spoiled her? Definitely - but she’s let me...
Check “settings’’. In the iOS version the first settings tab is “Help” with the version displayed below.
In iOS check your applications via the App Store and select update if you don’t have 2021.5.
I don’t know how to use the Android version, but others here can probably help.

Alloy:
That seems like the safest policy. I do use GAIA for all tracking and waypoints, but have my default setting as private. While that works 99% of the time, I have had a track show up on the “public tracks” layer when I fumbled some keystrokes!

If you’re starting from scratch you might consider the larger bore components and hose to increase airflow. We have an onboard system with outlets at each wheel to fill four tires simultaneously and the option to add a 2nd compressor for trips where we’ll be filling several times a day. If...
Colleagues:
Earlier this week my iPad auto updated to version 2021.4 of GAIA. Immediately thereafter the tablet struggled to properly display maps & occasionally failed to display them at all. Quick call to GAIA premium support confirmed they knew of issue & offered a beta version of...
