For those of you with suspension seats...how do you deal with seat belts?

I see that the most common low travel suspension seats don't have integrated seat belts. Looks like they depend on the standard belt mounts. Are these sufficiently comfortable, or do the seats and their travel create issues? Has anyone mounted seat belts directly onto the suspension base?

2012 FUSO FG stock front bumper FS, San Diego area

White, located in San Diego area. Decent condition, but some holes in it from light mounts, and it looks like one ding on top. I've never had it mounted, received it when I purchased truck second hand. Frame mounts on truck have been cut off, so I can't use it any more. $50, if you'd like pics...

    2011+ FG cabin air filters?

Has anyone sourced a more efficient air filter than the OEM "filter" (which is more of a screen...I don't think many rocks and leaves are going to get that far down in the system, but the engineers obviously thought otherwise)? I'll be stopping by my local dealer to pick up a part, and I'll ask...

FG folks...is this kind of sealant used on factory builds?

Input please - I'm looking at a truck that doesn't have much of a maintenance record, or recall work done. But this RTV work doesn't look like something a factory would do, so I need input from current owners. Does it look like this transmission has been messed around with? Rebuilt, or at the...

Anyone pulled interior out of a Callen?

I've got a wiring issue in this Callen I have, and after doing a bit of investigation, I'm not going to have anyone else do the wiring. Have to do it myself. I mean, two crimp splices in a single wire within three inches? Really? IAC, I need to get the interior paneling off, which means the...

Finally found a Callen, now need some jacks...

Any brands/designs of camper jacks better than others? Anyone have a model you'd buy again? I just found a Callen on CL, it's actually going over to Callen Campers tomorrow to get a slider window put in - but I'm going to need some way to get the thing on and off the truck by myself, and not...

    Ok, so there's Callen and A.R.E. ...........

Both of which are A: pricy as heck, and B: frikkin' impossible to find used in the models I'm interested in. Soooooooo...are there any other manufacturers that make similiar campers or shells? I'm actually looking for a relatively high shell, or a camper design that gives the owner the...

    We. Are. All. PIKERS....

compared to a man by the name of Louis Mattar. I didn't know about him until yesterday, and he was a local, only a few miles away from me. He took a 1947 Cadillac, and modified it for long distance non-stop road trips. Yep, non-stop. Towed a 250 gallon fuel trailer, also used for spare oil...

    Ancor vs. Almo cable?

Both are BC5W2 cables, but the Almo is half the price of the Ancor? I'm finding (locally) 2/0 Ancor at 11.99/ft, and the Almo is 6.05/ft. Both made in USA, both BC5W2 standard - the one thing the Almo doesn't say on the sheathe is "diesel resistant" etc. Ancor does. Both are ABYC compliant...

    non-insulated terminal crimpers?

Anyone found a good set of the ratchet style for uninsulated terminals? I'm trying to do multiple Hella relays, and I'm working with a relay block that uses the uninsulated terminals. I can do them with the insulated crimpers I've got, but it's a pain...there's got to be a ratchet style...

Ok wiring guru's....crosslinked marine grade wire?

I can easily find the marine grade wire, and I can easily find crosslinked wire, but I can't find marine grade with crosslinked insulation, preferably SXL grade. Thoughts? Between the two, if I can't find the combined article, I'm thinking I'll just go with the SXL wire, and use proper...

    Fuse block/relay suppliers?

Well, I see slomatt's DIY project to combine a fuse block with relays - but other than scrounging in the junkyard, does anyone know of something like the Blue Seas fuse block that actually has attachment points for relays? Actually, I'm thinking more of something like an OEM system where you...
